Esteem Resource Africa (ERA) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in Ghana in 2022. Prior to its incorporation, key ERA staff dutifully carried out an agenda of helping the socially victimized, underprivileged, and disadvantaged young ladies address their mental and emotional wounds.
It is estimated that there are over 2000 victims of Trokosi in Ghana. However this is difficult to establish due to the remote locations, tribal secrecy and fear. Trokosi is practiced in Ghana, Benin and Togo which means the numbers are even greater.
